Get back in the box!
Douglas Rushkoff has posted his Fifth excerpt from his up and coming book The Ben and Jerry's syndrome. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. As one poster responded in Rushkoff's blog, everything has a good side and a bad side, and sure... Ice cream makes you fat. It's also highly enjoyable.

Though, i think that first poster missed the point of the excerpt. He focused on whether or not Ben and Jerry's was actually doing the country a service by treating it's employees well, and buying organic milks, when it makes you fat. But, I think the point was.. Ben and Jerry got taken over. They did so much good stuff, that they could no longer sustain a profit, and then when the take over happened, they stayed a separate entity, instead of trying to change the conglomerate form the inside out. Which would seem an impossible feet to me.

Maybe that was the point.. We don't try what appears to be impossible.

I'm not sure I get the point on this one actually.. *laughs* I was right there with him on all the previous excerpts.
